Alexia and Cary are unlike any other couple I have shot with before. They are up for anything, even shooting in bellow zero temperatures in HIGH HEELS up in the Mountains. We chose Cedar Mountain in Southern Utah for their bridals location and it was SPECTACULAR. This time of year the snow is amazing to shoot in. We drove up the canyon to only realize the place we went to shoot the road had been closed so we improvised and found beautiful places to shoot along the way back down the mountain. The Cliff Overhang with the large icicles is breathtaking. We could not pass it up.
They trenched in snow boots into freshly fallen snowy fields. With Alexia’s fair and flawless skin and Cary’s dark hair and dark skin it really makes them Pop against the light white snow landscape. Alexia’s dress was all lace in a mermaid style. She chose the perfect dress for her body and I loved her lace half sleeve for the winter. She was still able to move around and have a good time but still keep her shoulders covered front the winter weather.
Cary’s suit was custom made by Sam Surin. He chose a tan linen suit, he is an italian with his dark skin he could pull off this color, and I loved it against the white snow.
Both of them are naturals in from of the camera and are very comfortable together which makes it so easy to shoot in the harsh cold weather.
